Dougie Sim Timber Buildings
Dougie Sim Timber Buildings was established in 1990. I started by making garden sheds as a hobby then decided to go full time working from one of my own large timber sheds. My previous premises were in the village of Miltonduff. In 2000, I moved to my present location at Unit 2, Fogwatt, near Elgin. Alongside is the house that I built the same year; the timber kit for the house was made in the workshop. Each building and order is made to individual customer’s requirements; our products range from a small 6' x 4' shed to 10.50m long x 7.20 m wide workshop buildings. In the summer of 2005 we designed, built and erected a Sports Pavilion for the prestigious Gordonstoun School. Click HERE to view a picture of this Pavilion. All the buildings we manufacture are treated, delivered and erected onto site. We specialise in Timber Garages of any size, which if requested can be fitted with up and over doors. For larger buildings we recommend Permadri Profile Sheeting for the roof and in the construction our double garages we use factory made roof trusses. Our product range includes Summer houses, Dog kennels and Wendy houses all made to customers individual special requirements. We use only the best quality Tongued & Grooved timber in the construction of our products. Many of our new business orders come from personal recommendation by our previous satisfied customers.
